About Alliance Francaise de Sacramento

Where Sacramento gathers to learn, live, love and be French!

The Capital Region’s French language and cultural center is welcoming French-speaking people and francophiles from all over the Sacramento area and beyond. Founded in 2000 as an independent nonprofit organization, the Alliance now counts more than 600 members and 250 students per session.

Special events will immerse you in the French culture and introduce you to native speakers and francophiles just like you. Discover the French in you at the AF de Sacramento!

Founded in Paris in 1883, the Alliance Française currently boasts more than 800 chapters in 130 countries, with over half a million students worldwide.

Our mission is to promote the French language and francophone cultures and to foster friendships between French speakers and people living in the Sacramento region.
